Inspired by the seduction of a moonlit swim, your body flirts with the shimmering lights on the water’s surface.
This above-water, private New Jersey based photo shoot conjures up the forbidden feel of an after-hours swim. Carefully curated and planned by Cate start to finish, this stylized wet session is intricately planned. Cate, along with her assistant, guide you through a sensual series of imaginative, mystery-drenched images.

FAQs
WHEN CAN I BOOK MY nightswim SESSION?
There will be a very limited number of sessions available in August 2025 available on a first-come, first-served basis on select weekday evenings. Inquire for available dates by clicking here. The session begins in early evening, starting with hair and makeup. The client is then escorted to a private pool location for the photoshoot.
Can I combine this session with my boudoir photo shoot?
No. This is a stand-alone, singular session with ONE wardrobe/swimsuit or nude look. Due to the special nuances of this session including time, location and specialized makeup, we do not combine these with any other type of session.
can I bring a friend to the session?
Your photo session is about YOU and your soul-quenched experience. Cate finds that guests on the photo shoot create physical and emotional distractions, as well as disrupt the flow of the session. Cate conducts these sessions with the help of an assistant/safety guard. Guests will only be permitted by Cate when her assistant is not available for the session.
do I need to know how to swim?
Most of the session will be completed in the shallow end of the pool, a max of 3 feet, so it does not require swimming on your part. You will not be photographed underwater However, if you are an agile swimmer, we can venture into the deep end (8+ ft.) for alternative shots/more advanced angles.
CAN I TRAVEL TO YOU FOR THIS?
YES! Cate’s studio is located near a popular beach destination and she can help you plan your accommodations if you’d like a mini-vacation in this New Jersey beach destination..
what’s included / price?
This is an all-inclusive fee-based session, paid at the time of booking, exclusive Introductory rate US $1,350 which shall include:
Your pre-consultation (by phone or in person)
Wardrobe planning + assistance
YOUR OWN PRIVATE session in Cate’s private pool location
Artist time + talent
30-45 minute photo shoot (after dark, adjusts to cold temps)
THE ALBUM…. up to TEN fully retouched images designed in a 7x5” premium European-imported album. Social Media-sized Digital files of selected images shall be included.
BONUS $150 gift certificate towards a future in-studio boudoir session
Upgrade options will be available allowing clients to choose more images, bespoke albums, or to make extraordinary wall art well worth displaying.
Not included: Makeup artist, paid $125 + tip

is a payment plan available?
The studio accepts PayPal Payments or Klarna for your payment. These services allow the studio to be paid upfront, while you have several months to pay your balance on your own. You must apply on your own + be approved with a sufficient line of credit, prior to booking.
You may also combine your payment in full …using split credit cards, cash/check combos, or cash in full.
may I do my own makeup?
This photo session requires special nuances for makeup, accounting for light, water resistance, aesthetic style and color harmony. My team is skilled in these areas, and we will schedule the artist for you. You may, however, style your own wet look hair (with guidelines)… or you can get extra pampering and expertise with our hairstylist.
